Participants wanted: Smart Airport Framework Study
I am a doctoral researcher at Auckland University of Technology. This study examines the design and development of smart airports, with particular attention to the relationship between architecture, operational efficiency, and passenger experience. Industry professionals are invited to contribute their insights through a short interview.
Who I'm looking for
Participation is open to professionals with a minimum of three years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Airport operational efficiency
- Terminal architecture
- Digital transformation
- Sustainable outcomes
Participants contribute in an individual professional capacity, drawing on general industry knowledge. Participation is not undertaken on behalf of an employer, and no confidential or organisation-specific information is requested.
What's involved
The interview is semi-structured and lasts between 45 and 60 minutes. It is conducted online via Microsoft Teams, at a time arranged for the participant's convenience. Questions are tailored to the participant's area of expertise.
Participation is voluntary. Participants may decline to answer any question and may withdraw from the study at any time up to two weeks after receiving the interview transcript for review.
Privacy
With the participant's consent, the interview is recorded, transcribed, and anonymised. Names, organisations, and any other identifying details are not disclosed in any report or publication arising from the study. Access to the original recordings is restricted to the researcher. Supervisors are provided with anonymised data only.
